Expectations for a First Visit to the Chiropractor for Pain Management

First-time patients are often nervous because they have developed an unrealistic image of how that first appointment should go. The truth is whether you come to our chiropractic clinic for pain management, back pain, headache, arthritis, or any other reason, the first visit generally is a “getting to know you” session. Our chiropractors will ask you about your medical history, why you are seeking care, and what you expect from your treatments. These questions allow us to get a better understanding of what brings you to our clinic, and how we can design a treatment plan specific to you.

Only after a diagnosis and treatment plan has been developed will we conduct any alignments or adjustments in our office.
